DHC works wonders!! Nothing like Codiene at all, so don't worry folks! Also* There is no ceiling effect like codeine! On the negative side, tolerance can build within days. If I were to make a comparison for those who haven't heard of Dihydrocodeine; I'd says it's the UK's version of our "Hydrocodone (Vicodin,etc)". The two are quite similar. Made me very sleepy after about an hour, but then I had SEVERE restless legs, but it wasn't just my legs. It was my whole body. Never taking this again.

My first experience with diclofenac was a positive one. AT my age, I need medications for my joints and for my back pain as well, and I was happy to start diclofenac because it is very effective with limited side effects, so I did not need to go and look for other additional medications
