It sucks! This drug did a great job helping my depression, but at a huge cost to my health. I've been suffering severe nausea, vomiting, super-sensitivity to smells and dizziness. I take gravol to stave off the nausea - but gravol makes me so tired! At the end of the day I was a prisoner in my own home because I refuse to drive if I'm dizzy & on gravol. Azelastine Hydrochloride, also known as Astepro, has worked really well for me. I tried Omnaris before I tried Astepro. Even though I lean forward like the instructions say to do, I still get a very bad strange taste in my throat and tongue. I'm pretty sure that it is because it drains down into my throat, but the first time I tasted it, I had a hard time getting the taste off my tongue. Ambien works better for me than any other insomnia medication I've tried. The downside is that it can make me drowsy when I wake up.

Lyrica is ok for treating anxiety conditions like GAD. It works well but the confusion/dizziness at dosage above 300mg per day can be a problem. It does not have many gastrointestinal side effects but I find that it irritates a long term gastritis problem of mine. Lyrica is a good alternative for those who cant tolerate conventional antidepressants or those who would like to avoid the use of benzodiazipines.
