I've used other over the counter stuff such as abreva, blistex, among other stuff, but nothing comes close to Herplex. As soon as I feel a burning sensation on my lip I take the Herplex and within 3-4 days is dry and gone..

I have been using Gymnema as part of a herbal tablet (along with chromium, B12, Glucomannan, etc) for a few months and took it twice per day. It gave me better numbers but not as good as I would like, and some consistency in my readings. Recently I changed to a capsule - hard as heck to swallow - that is a higher dosage. I was on the NuvaRing for 4 years and I loved it. Little to no cramps, 2-3 day light periods. Everything was great. Suddenly I started getting yeast infections. The first one was the last week before my period. It went away when I had my period, but came back three days after I put in a new ring. And lasted for 2 weeks. When I switched from Imitrex to Treximet, I found relief was within an hour and if I had a bad migraine and took a second one after one hour it was gone. In the past, My severe Migraines could last on and off for 3-5 days at its worst. Side effect is heartburn. I want to thank my Pharmist Richard for telling me about the drug...I had to ask my doctor about it and then she gave me a sample.
