This medication was given to me for strep throat, I guess it got rid of my infection but it tasted bad everytime I swallowed this pill, and I started getting slight diarrhea while I was on this medication. Besides, the diarrhea and the horrible taste to the pill there are no more complaints, but I sure didint like this medication too much due to the horrible taste and diarrhea.

Developed Parkinson's after 4 yrs of Lipitor therapy for "primary prevention". No fly Hx of neurodegenerative ds; no fly hx of cardiovascular ds. Just mildly elevated TC. Am aware of others who feel Parkinson's due to lipitor, and 2 who feel ALS due to lipitor. I had one son already and now I'm working and planning to get married so I don't want another child yet. I take Ortho Tri-Cyclen and it prevents me from getting pregnant and unexpected periods. I recommend it but it does give me mood swings!

This drug helped my stomach issues although I suffered from major side effects. I reported the side effects to my dr at least 3 times last year and she never mentioned it could be this drug. Of course, I read the precautions on my prescriptions but my side effects were listed as very rare. It just didn't occur to me that it could be my stomach medicine.
