As with other statins within days or weeks the same physical sensations begin. It is like too much energy in hands and feet. Sleep i srestless. Thre are night swets. In this case I took only 2 pills. the morning aftert he first I felt great. But the 2nd night (pills are taken in evening before bed) symptoms began. Before taking Topamax I had about 3-4 serious migraines a month--nausea, sensitivity, etc--and almost daily minor ones. Since taking it I hardly get the daily migraines and I only still get about one migraine a month due to my menstrual cycle. I have lost over 10 lbs on the drug (I am now 98-100lbs depending at 5'3") but my doctor doesn't think this isn't a major concern.
