User Comments about Fanapt
08 Aug 2012 I was given a starter pack of Fanapt. I took the medicine exactly as prescribed. When I ingested the 2nd pill from the starter pack at the time and in the manner prescribed by my doctor, I had to be taken by ambulance to the ER. My blood pressure was 180/150 and stayed at that level for over 8 hours. My pulse was around 160-180 the entire time. I had a horrendous migraine and was exceedingly dizzy. This allergic reaction was reported at the time of its occurance to the Food and Drug Administration.

09 Sep 2011 I take Fanapt 6mg twice a day. I have noticed weight gain since taking this medication. Also, a stuffy nose and some tiredness. On the other hand, my symptoms have improved greatly. This medication decreases auditory hallucinations. I think since I have been diagnosed eight years ago, that this is the best medication thus far for me.
