I switched to Caduet to combine High Blood Pressure and Cholesterol medications I was taking. I didn't notice any side effects and it seems to have worked well treating both issues.

Has anyone tried going off this nasty drug? I am on day two of weaning down from 300 mgs to 200 mgs daily of Lyrica. Next week I am supposed to go down to just 100 mgs....and the following week should be down to none. My problem is this: I am feeling anxious, easily irritated, have irrational thoughts, and have been driving my poor husband nuts with fits of tears every other hour. Experienced moderate flushing during my first usage but it occured 12 hours after taking the pill. It was a scary experience because I thought any side effects would hit a lot sooner. Flushing occurred about 4 hours after taking a pill the second day; this time I noticed my knees and ankles turning red - flushing was limited to face, neck, arms the first day.
