I had Graves Disease about 8 years ago,took docs a year to sort it out, had all the heart meds too. Then it was sorted out. Since then i have had Hyperthroidism about three times since - it just wont go away. Back on Carbims again. On 5 mg three times a day now have been retested and its hardly reduced it so have to up the dose to 4 tabs daily - doc said two am,two pm. Treats the illness but not the underlying symptons. In fact, i believe since taking serc that the problem spread to my other ear . -More clicking and congestion apparent than ever before. Side effects of serc outweigh having to combat vertigo attack entirely by itself. ( I didn't seek treatment for nearly two weeks in the hope it would go away by itself like it did before). I have not had any problems with it. I have not had any tests done to tell me how it is working, however, I am hoping that when I have my next bone density test, the density will have improved.

When you are in intense pain-as I was you would do anything- If they had said they could cut my arm off I would have said yes please.This drug DID work for me- I was taking 600MG a day!! Didnt realise what a massive dose this was- It was brilliant for pain control but they dont tell you about withdrawral symptoms.
