I have taken Differin two different times. The first time Differin was just in a progression of increasingly strong topical acne medications, the first time the the Differin was ineffective in treating my acne. I then progressed and took Accutane which significantly improved my acne. I now use Differin cream as needed to treat random break-outs on my face and I now, having eliminted the severe acne with Accutane, I am able to use Differin with satisfaction.

I took MARAX as a child in 60's, early 70's for asthma. I found it effective, but found it to cause a (to me, scary) side effect my doctor never mentioned: Marax caused me to "see stars" upon rising from sitting position; to the point that this "visual static" (similar to analog TV picture after station goes off the air) made it impossible to see, momentarily, upon rising. I was diagnosed with asthma when I was 9 years old. The asthma would come when I excercised and when I was around things that gave me allergies such as cats and pollen. I had a lot of expensive allergy tests done and was given an inhaler which would help in the moment when I couldn't breathe as well as some medicines but nothing seemed to really help overall. I wanted to stop taking the drug because of the side effects however the side effect from stopping even gradualy gave me severe seizures or commonly called "Brain Zaps" so bad I don't want to stop. I feel like its a trick and my Dr. recommended me to double the dose. So he is like my crack dealer and now I am stuck on this pill forever.
