I have had normal blood pressure, top number in the 120's-130's, bottom # in the 70's, all of my life, and now that I have been on Yaz for a year my numbers have absolutely skyrocketed. Now I'm getting readings anywhere from the 140's over 80's all the way up to the 190's over 90's! Started taking the medicine for malaria for a deployment to Afghanistan. About three weeks into the regiment, started to have vivid and unique dreams that were often violent in nature. This was a side effect but did not bother me. In fact I enjoyed the dreams a lot. I continued to take mefloquine and eventually stopped after I was back in the states. I never got malaria but my buddy got it and he was taking the same amount I got.

My doctor prescribed this medication to me when I was 16. My skin was at a point where it was starting to break out a little. When I started doxycycline, I would get extremely nauseated to the point where I would vomit. I then decided that instead of taking it in the mornings, it would be best to take it after my evening meal. It worked out great.
