Treatment Information
The generic name of this medication are hydrochlorothiazide and irbesartan and the brand name is Avalide.

The active ingredients of this medication are hydrochlorothiazide and irbesartan. The inactive ingredients include Inactive ingredients include: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, croscarmellose sodium, ferric oxide red, ferric oxide yellow, silicon dioxide, and magnesium stearate. In addition, the 300/25 mg pink film-coated tablet contains ferric oxide black, hypromellose-2910, PEG-3350, titanium dioxide, and carnauba wax.

It is manufactured by Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Avalide is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

20 May 2010 was on monopril for over 15 years. Must have become immuned because my pressure was not controled any more. Doctor put me on it 3 months ago and my pressure is best it has been.
