Provigil is an effective medicine in fighting the drowsiness associated with narcolopsy. However, it is incredibly expensive. (close to 450$ per month before insurance and still 90$ after insurance every month!)

Tylenol is sometimes ineffective when used frequently to the point where I have to go to sleep in order to escape the pain. Thus, I try to only take it in extreme cases for best results.

Since about three years I am suffering from 2-3 gout attacks/year (big toe). After taking Diclofenac, the pain disappears after approx.30 minutes and when continuing 3 tablets/day for three days, the attack is over.

Even at the highest recommended dose, it doesn't work a full 24 hours. It does cause extreme drowsiness about 30 minutes to an hour after taking, so I take mine at bedtime. It is also quite expensive if you don't have insurance.

I spent most of my life trying to hide or avoid my problems with agoraphobia and panic attacks. I've tried everything from psych to behavior modification to many other drugs. While I am not panic attack free taking this med has reduced the frequence and severity of attacks. I find that Avil is a great pain reliever when my ankle is swoleen and in pain from the surgury that I had in October. I only take it as needed for pain and find that when I do take it; it is very effective
