I was very happy with Yasmin, until I started having full-body numbness. I went to several doctors who ruled out thyroid problems, not enough B-12 or Iron, and nervous system problems. Then I read up on numbness being a symptom, asked my doctor about it and she changed me over to Sprintec until I figure out what birth control I want to go on long-term.

I have had a great experience with Femcon because it controls my endometriosis and regulates my period. I have had a bad experience with other birth controls. I was a lunatic on Loestrin so I was relieved when I found Fem con.

I've been on Effexor XR for over 4 years now. I have recently added Lithium to boost the Effexor XR and it is working well. Effexor XR has got side effects like all medication but it works for me. With Lithium added I should be able to lower the dose of the Effexor. I was on 375mg a day for major depression and the headaches were too strong so I dropped back to 300mg which is better. I have been taking Lybrel for just over a year. I noticed my eyebrows thinning and initially thought it was due to a bad wax job. However, they have continued to thin dramatically. I like NuvaRing because I don't have to worry about taking it daily, and the only side effect I really experience is an improved complexion. I don't like that it needs to be keep cool, so I always need to be somewhere cool or have access to a fridge.
