I took Xyzal back on April 20th and April 21 only to find myself in the hospital. I only took 2 5mg tablets and had 5 days of hallcinations. My 2 sisters took me to the ER where they said it was a reaction to the medication. It was like being on drugs. i have had serious diziness, feel heavy headed, head feels fuzzy, lack of concentration, also my eyes feel very heavy and ache sometimes, my vision is almost blurry - i absolutely hate the way i feel and am on the verge og depression, and no doctor to date has said that the way that i feel can be a side effect of lymecyline, so i have stopped taking them as of today and so far no improvement...but need to give it some more time probably.

When I forget to take it on time, I get little "electric" shocks, I used to get them when I was starting on the medication as well. I don't really feel like it's doing much for me (if anything at all), I have it paired up with mianserin hydrochloride (20 - 30+ mg / day in the evenings depending on how tired I am - how much rest I've been skipping on previous days) which seems great. This drug also works as an 'antispasmodic' (slows digestion) making it a godsend for those of us who have had Ulcerative Colitis, Chrones Disease, IBS, Colon Cancer, etc. -related surgeries.
