I take Ibuprofen OTC for headaches, body aches, cold/flu, joint pain, etc. I usually take 400-600 mg and it is wonderful because it helps with pain and inflammation with NO side effects. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled out I preferred taking 800 mg ibuprofen over tylenol, darvocet, hydrocodone, and percocet. seems to work well, i will say though do not Yank the patch off take it off slowly i cause skin bruse yanking one off like tape it seems to make my skin very fragile after use When i did yank off of one the patches the far end the last part to come off in the thank put a straight line bruse showing blood under the skin simlar to being hit hard and getting a bruse

My thyroid lvls were low so doctor prescribed this to me 25 mg. once a day. I noticed a weight gain immediately, headaches, severe joint pain, my throat felt swollen or like a lump was in it and overall negative effects. I had a hysterectomy the same month the doctor prescribed this so I am unsure if its the levothyroid or effects of no hormones...maybe a little of both. While one of Gleevec's side affects is diarreha (mine was really severe) I found that by taking 1000mg of vitamin D every other day almost completely stopped it. I didn't find that out until after losing 35 lbs. but if it helps someone else, great. Puffy eyes for 7 years now have made my eyes so beat up looking. Haven't found anything that really helped that.
