I was prescribed tussinex for my cough when I got bronchitis, it works great! It stopped my cough immediately and lasts about 4-5 hours. It does make me very sleepy though, but I still recommend it.

My 15 year old son has ADHD. He has been on numerous stimulants over the years as well as Strattera. The stimulants caused decreased weight and appetitie and increased frustration. While they helped with focus, the tradeoffs were difficult. He currently is on Vyvanse 50 mg daily and began Intuniv 1mg three weeks ago and has titrated up to 3 mg. Although it has helped my allergies a lot the only problem I have is that it doesn't last for 24 hours like it says it will. 12 hours is the max sometimes even sooner. It is gradually getting better though.
