I have been taking Buspar (Burspirone) (5mg) for 6 weeks. I take 1-1/2 tablets (7mg) twice a day. I immediately noticed a warm feeling when I first started but after a month or so I didn't notice it as much. I have PTSD and anxiety has been a real problem for many years. The first three months were hellish. i constantly needed to throw up. my head hurt. i was exhausted. after that everything calmed down. i still feel nauseous in the mornings but it's bearable. i'm much calmer. my enthusiasm for certain things has dulled and i'm pretty sure my sex drive has decreased. but it was pretty darn high to start off with so situation still isn't critical :-) my sensitivity (physical) has decreased though which is a down side. my sense of urgency has gone which is good... Furosemide and torsemide both cause me to have horrible burning foot pain and terrible pain in my ankles knees and joints. I have to take diuretics due to CHF if i stop taking it the foot pain gradually goes away but then i need the diuretic again - I can barely walk its truly excrutiating! Its ruining my life!

It provides a weird taste in your mouth. However it is extremely effective at combatting a runny or congested nose. Good for allergies or a cold.

I have not had any problems with it. I have not had any tests done to tell me how it is working, however, I am hoping that when I have my next bone density test, the density will have improved.
