I was prescribed amitryptiline after a servere breakdown and agitated depression. It was due to stress at work, and my Doctor told me the drug would bring my neurotransmitters together, that the stress had knocked apart. It saved my life, as I was suicidal. I have been taking syntroid for over 1 year to suppress remaining part of thyroid after surgery(pappillary carcinoma).
