I switched to Vivelle Dot after being on Premarin for 18 years. I am disappointed that my side effects of weight gain and breast tenderness are bad enough to make me want to stop using it. I feel it is safer than Premarin but I cannot live with the side effects.

My periods/cramps have been better since taking Yaz. Although, I have experienced some mild depression than when I wasn't on it and a few mood changes. I have had one irregular period and I have never missed a pill since taking Yaz. I am going to my gynocologist in the next couple months for a check up with Yaz. My Doctor prescribed this for me because he thought I was getting endometriosis.

Hi. Just want to share my experience. I took Candex as indicated for about 2 weeks. I experienced pretty severe diarrhea the entire time. I work at home. I would not have been able to do this if I was not able to be flexible with my time. It got to a point where I had to stop anyway because of the frequency and severity. Cymbalta has been the best medication for my panic attacks and depression. I have tried Paxil, Lexapro, Effexor, and Pristiq before Cymbalta, and had to stop them all for one reason or another. Cymbalta has the best mix of efficacy and tolerability for me. Each person is different. Do not listen to reviews like these; you must try the drugs for yourself. Just because one person has a bad experience does not mean you will as well. Everyone seems to love Lexapro, but it didn't work at all... View full comment
