For the last four months or so, bloating gas, and cant eliminate it. Resulting in severe abdominal pain. Constipation, urinay problems not as severe. No appetite,. Terrible pain in G.I. regio, nmostly at night about 1 hour after ingestion of P.M. meds. I do not abuse meds.

In 1984 I was given a single dose (as in One Time Only) of leritine IV push for severe pain and was knocked out for about 4 hours. When I awoke I was legally blind as in almost total darkness; I was later diagnosed with bilateral wet macular degeneration and bilateral neovascularization, the latter of which required laser surgery to arrest its progression. I was diagnosed with myoclonus by a neurologist a year ago, although I had suffered from it a couple of years before hand. An MRI scan and EEG failed to show any abnormalities, however I was diagnosed with epilepsy and perscribed the anti- epileptic drug Levetiractam (Keppra). The Keppra reduced the intensity of my myoclonus but not the fequency so I have been perscribed Clonazepam. As a physician, I've fielded numerous complaints from my patients indicating Proair was not an effective rescue inhaler. AS a result, I no longer prescribe it. Suffering from reactive airway disease (RADs) myself, I need to use an inhaler on occassion, and was given Proair recently. It just doesn't work. Period. My concern is this - how many lives have been put in jeopardy by patients desparate for relief of acute symptoms, and finding no reiief w/ the use of Proari in an emergent setting?
