Prep H does its job of reducing the swelling and pain caused by hemorrhoids very well. Two days after application, the product reduces the size of the hemorrhoid considerably and really eases the pain. However, Prep H does not "cure" hemorrhoids, and I believe it should be used only for pain relief.

I have endometriosis and was prescribed YAZ for my birth control to help my symptoms and clear up my acne. While it worked for the first 8 months or so, all of a sudden my period just wouldn't end. I continued bleeding, all the time non stop no matter what pill in the pack I was on. I went to the doctor and tried taking Naproxen with the YAZ to see if that would help kick start the YAZ back to action, but to no avail. I am switching off of the YAZ in a few days because of this. As stated above, it does seem to help with my blood pressure, but I seem to be more irritated than I was before I originally started the medication. It is worth putting up with for the benefit of the medication though.
