Tri-regol has been the only birth control that I've been taking that is basically "symptom-free". I did not gain weight, get a yeast infection, have a change in vision or get nauseous or tired, as I have experienced with other birth control pills. It gets a A++ in my book

Absolutely hate it, went from working out 5days/week to almost zero. I barely even have a period if any, which worries me of pregnancy. I have gained 10 lbs in the past 3 months. A lot more moody.

Maxalt works great if you take it right when you start feeling a migraine coming! It does make me sleepy and have to urinate a lot but I'd rather that then the migraine. However, since I've been put on Topamax, I'm not sure the Maxalt works right anymore. I've only had to take the Maxalt once since my doctor allowed me to have both again, so it may have just been a rogue migraine. Hopefully with the next one it will work.

It's true that the taste is awful, and the bit of numbing is weird! But I have never slept better, and I wake up without any drug effects. I fall asleep about 20 minutes after I take it, so I plan accordingly. I find that it's less "yucky" if I place it under my tongue in such a way that I can make a tight "seal" over it with the rest of my tongue. I am blessed to find a medication that will control my colitis but do have issues with a few side effects. I have a real down time about 4-5 days after my injection. I get very withdrawn and somewhat depressed and to myself.I get very tired and just try to push through but some months are worse than others. I have also noticed my memory and focus seems to be getting worse. Other than that I am really happy with it.I know all medicines have side effects and I can deal with them to have a life.
