I was given oxybuprocaine to numb my eyes at an opthamology eye exam, after receiving the drops I started to have convulsions. My head was completely bent back, my eyes were rolling in the back of my head and I was grinding my teeth. I got my thyroid radiated 9 yrs ago and went hypo soon after. I was prescibed levoxyl but I have never felt the same. I still have a goiter but smaller. I'm often cold and have low energy but my hands shake and at night I have trembling in my torso and arms. If my thyroid was radiated, is some of it still active and can I switch to different meds.?
