My mother, age 85, was taking Prednisone for pulmonary fibrosis and it caused congestive heart failure and she died about 3 wks after she started taking it. It also had a host of other unpleasant side effects, but death trumped those. It made her irritable, prone to emotional outbursts, skin breaking open and oozing, and more. Gordon Caldwell Fund

Since having the Mirena IUD inserted approx. 10 months ago I had developed anxiety, panic attacks, heart palpitations, chest pain, difficulty breathing, night sweats, hot flashes, memory lapses and a generally foggy and unwell feeling. I have no prior history of any of these conditions. I had the Mirena IUD removed yesterday and hope that these symptoms improve.

Im happy with the weight loss Ive recieved from Adipex-p. Im undergoing doctors care now for my pain. Im not sure my pain is from the medicine or not. I just had an MRI of my neck on Tues. I may have a ruptured disk. I do work in a factory. I went to a Neurolorgist though last month and he was basically insinuating that he thought it was the Adipex without coming right out and saying so. Started takin Aleve for knee pain. Developed abdominal pain and couldn't tell if it was bladder or gas. Did not put 2+2 together that it may have been a side effect from the aleve at first. That's how I wound up on this site. Stopped taking it and the abdominal pain went away.
