My original dose of 150 mg 2 times a day was too strong. Drowziness followed into the mid-day making my morning dose absolete. It did help my pain but prevented normal routines. I had to ease into and work up to the original dosage by starting with 50 mg 2 times a day. It is a better overall balance for me.

When I forget to take it on time, I get little "electric" shocks, I used to get them when I was starting on the medication as well. I don't really feel like it's doing much for me (if anything at all), I have it paired up with mianserin hydrochloride (20 - 30+ mg / day in the evenings depending on how tired I am - how much rest I've been skipping on previous days) which seems great. I had an ingrown toe nail on my big toe on my foot, and the doctor said I had a bacterial infection. He then prescribed Cephalexin and to soak it in salt; my toe was better within a month!

I am a 42 year old nursing student and I don't think that I would be able to continue with the nursing program if I was not on Vyvanse . Since being on Vyvanse I have been able to think clearly as well as remember material for school. Before medication I was studying 5 to 6 hours per night. and I would barely pass now with the same amount of studying my grades have improved greatly. My personality has changed Im not as hyper or ditzy anymore. Im very happy with Vyvanse.
