Since stopping the medication Ive had horrendous side effects which have meant I've spent the last 3 days in bed and I'm still no better. I'm wondering how long these side effects will last. I stopped meds on Monday and have woken up I'll again today. I have sever hot and cold sweats, headache, muscle ache, nausea, general feeling of being unwell like I'm coming down with flu. Will I feel like this for much longer? It's debilitating.

I have been taking Zoloft since August 2009. I was prescribed this medication after seeing a phychiarist due to anxiety. The anxiety was from an allergy medicine called Xyzal which was prescribed to my last April 2009. Well needless to say this allergy medication caused real bad hallucinations which caused me to go to the hospital. I have taken this for 1 year and it had went really good, i went for my annual check-up last week and Saturday i started my cycle 9 to 10 days early. I was nervous to get the Mirena because I typically do not do well with any dose of hormones. The only birth control method that has worked for me in the past is the Paragard but unfortunately after about 6 months, my body rejected it. I absolutely love the Mirena and plan to use it until I am ready to get pregnant. I am 25 and have never had children.
