As stated above, it does seem to help with my blood pressure, but I seem to be more irritated than I was before I originally started the medication. It is worth putting up with for the benefit of the medication though.

Let me make this short and clear: I was extremely happy on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. Lutera has screwed me over in so many ways. For starters, I have never had a serious acne problem in my life and just three days ago my boyfriend came over and called me pizza face. Secondly, there are absolutely no personality disorders known in my family history however now everyone in my long extended family thinks I am a bipolar b*%&#. Started 3 weeks ago. At first the side effects were hard to handle (hot /cold flashes, sweating, tiredness, cold hands). Now my body has adjusted to it and it has brought my blood pressure down and lessened my heart rate. It's important to wait it out 2 weeks because it took that long to start working. Taking 25 mg 2 x pd with hydrochlorithiazide. No other health issues!
