When I have a head cold, I take Sudafed during the day. It takes my headaches away but makes me really drowsy, almost as if I'm taking Nyquil. I don't recommend it to be taken during the day.

You need to report the muscle pain, you could get permanent muscle damage with cholesterol meds, I myself would not take it if you have muscle pain, this could indicate that it maybe is starting to damage your muscles and joints. I have tried five different statin drugs like baycol, zorcor and crestor....etc and they make me hurt all over, just got niaspan last night and didn't sleep and woke up lightheaded and had heart palpatations, probably won't take this either!!!! vI have been on Lyrica for Neuropathy for the past 5 and 1/2 years. It worked about 70-75% of the time for the first few years but now it works less than 40% of the time. My biggest problems with the Lyrica is the side effects-you name them I have them; weight gain (30-40 pounds), chills, night sweats, insomnia, depression, fatique, lack of motivation, memory loss, confusion, sleepiness, abdominal pain, GI bleeding, nose bleeds. With Bactrim (generic) I get immediate relief from my chronic prostatitis symptoms. However, during my last two bouts with this condition, I have also had my high blood pressure drop into the normal range. The first time, the drop was extreme so that I discontinued the high blood pressure medication for about 3 months before it returned. I usually only have to take Zyrtec during the spring. It is really effective and my allergy symptoms are relieved. Since it makes me drowsy, I take it right after dinner and before I go to bed. However, I become abnormally drowsy and have a really hard time waking up in the mornings.

I tried remicade for awhile and it worked for about the first year and then my symptoms started to return so I was switched to some other drugs but ultimately went back to the remicade as compared to the other drugs, it worked best. Then it was becoming more and more clear that the remicade was no longer working and I'm not going to start a new drug called Cimzia. This involves giving myself injections at home, which doesn't thrill me!
