The problem is that, the food is highly selective. I have to constantly choose what to eat, and what not too. This is seriously annoying, because carbohydrates are almost everywhere. When my blood sugar is too low, I take some malt or any sweet drink to balance it. When it is too high, it has side effects too, such as loss of your mind, fever, hallucinations, etc.

Have been on Carbimazole for just over six months.It was slowly reduced from 40mgs daily to 20mgs after two months. Then after five months found to be over medicated reduced to 10mgs. The symptoms i had whilst being over medicated were extreme exhaustion, dizziness and insomnia to mention a few.I also have severe hot flushes that come every two hour at night . I was on TriNessa since I needed a generic for my insurance. I had no major emotional issues or weight gain. I think it did clear up my face--although I have never had a huge acne problem--only occasional breakout--which I had zero on this med. The problem for me was the breakthrough bleeding.
