Unfortunately, I have had a real problem with hormonal birth control. I'm currently taking Microgestin, and while I'm kind of miserable on it, it's not as bad as what I experienced with Ortho. My only real complaint is that I have developed contact lens intolerance, and get red, gritty, painful eyes every time I wear my lenses for more than one day at a time. I do weekly immunoglobulin subQ infusions. I used Chloraprep once a week, prior to insterting the 5 needles that are necessary for 1 treatment of immunoglobulin, . For the past 18 weeks, I've been using Chloroprep and have suffered with huge (4-5 inches) and burning welts at each infusion site. The welts would last for 2-3 days and required me to use prednisone and Benedryl to reduce the itching. My skin around the hives was very sensitive and felt like it had gotten very sunburned. Horrible experience! daughter experienced seizures and major depression after taking it. At first it can seem subtle....decreasing appetite and intake of liquid...which can lead to sodium deficiency....which can lead to seizures... our experience was very frightening.

I suffered head trauma with multiple lacerations to my face and lips, along with severe swelling and bruising. I was prescribed vicodin to relieve my pain. When I took the vicodin I felt less socially inhibited and talked much more frequently than normal.

The drug has been working really well for me. My acne cleared up although there are still some red spots left. My skin improved tremendously! I usually take the medicine after eating lunch and dinner. When I take it without eating, I get very dizzy. Sometimes I take it right before I sleep, and my chest would feel heavy. Other than that,Doxycycline Hyclate has been working fine for me.
