This drug is a poison. It causes the conditions it's supposed to prevent. I never had a problem with flushing or redness before taking this. I had one broken blood vessel and that was it. Since taking it my face turned into a burning mess, and my lips are still messed up (I have to put vaseline on them about 5 times a day every day), and I don't sweat out of my face as much. I've taken only immediate release niacin. With twice a day dosing, I've never had any liver issues. Every time I try three times a day dosing, I eventually get elevated liver enzymes.
