Stop taking it- I had severe depression for a year and I'm on Necon now and I've done a complete turnaround in feeling better and have lost weight even. I have PCOS. I should have gotten off a lot sooner but with two kids I was too busy to call dr. and take care of me. I do regret being on it for so long but two dr. told me pills don't cause depression. They are wrong.

I have been on lipitor since Dec. 2008 and I was having pain in my legs. I told my Doctor in March 2009 the last time and he reassured me that it was unlikely to be lipitor. I continued to take it until April 26, 2009. Days before the pain had gotten so bad that I couldn't sleep, stand ,walk or sit. When I was still I had a dull throbbing pain in my muscles. I developed a thyroid problem , I was taken chantix for 6 weeks. I totally blame the drug. I had blood work every 6 months with no issue. Now I have to take a thyroid med every day. Women need to get blood work before taking this medication. I still smoke and going back to the patch. Many more lawsuits will happen with drug.
