I took one Zylfamend PM (only half the recommended dosage). I felt better the next day in terms of noticeably less body aches and less fatigue. I knew beforehand that ginger and turmeric are very "heating" herbs and will throw my ying/yang off balance. As expected, I had dry mouth for two nights (need to keep waking up to drink water or suck a lozenge in my mouth all night), and pimples popped out. Cymbalta has done wonders for my fibromyalgia. Lyrica and Savella made me so sick I was throwing up! They did nothing for my pain either. Not Cymbalta, though. It has made me virtually pain free! It has also helped balance out my bipolar II symptoms; especially the depression. Another added benefit included fewer and much milder PMS symptoms. Cymbalta is definitely the drug of choice for me...and no side effects!

After my two surgeries (few years apart) I received Vicodin on both occasions and yes, it did take away a great majority of the pain, however, i was puking nonstop due to the nausea that my doc only advised me to take if absolutely necessary since I was so sick due to it. I think that my muscle and joint pain could be from this med. I got changed from armor to this 2 months ago. But what do you mean by be coming a raving lunatic??

I take Klonopin to help with severe insomnia brought on by PTSD. I have taken it for days or for weeks in a row and then gone off of it for days or weeks. It seems to not have any withdrawal effects on me but it does effectivley help with the insomnia and occasional anxiey when I do take it. You sort of also have to know your body's reactions to chemicals and, also prepare your mind to accept the maximum positive effects of any medication entering your system.
