I got poison ivy and used cortaid to alleviate the itch. It made it go away pretty fast and I was satisfied overall with it. In some of the open blisters it really burned.

Shortly after being treated with Gardasil I developed strange cognitive issues, joint pain, bone pain, chronic fatigue, and many other symptoms. Recently these finally lead to a diagnosis of a rare autoimmune disorder called scleroderma or CREST syndrome. I have no family history of autoimmunity and there are others who have developed other similar illnesses like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis. Definitely do not get these shots if you have a predisposition for autoimmune disease.

Hi. I read your review of Opana. You were on 60mg of oxycontin, and changed to 5mg of Opana, then had sweating, loss of appetite, no engery, etc. This is NOT because the opana is problematic. It is because your dr. put you on WAY too low of a dose of opana (oxymorphone). Opana is 5 to 7 times stronger than oxycontin mg per mg. That means he should have put you on at least 10mg of opana. I was pissed when my insurance company pretty much forced me to buy the generic (a 3 month supply of ortho lo is $115 vs.$10 for the generic). Being a student, I can no longer afford the name brand BC I trust! HOWEVER, since being on tri-sprintec lo, I have not had ANY side effects. It's just like being on Ortho tri cyclen lo - minus the cool click pack. It's only been one month so far, but, so far, so good. My advice: try it, it just may not be the end of the world! I believe the drug works well, it just makes me sleepy and when i wake up i feel a hundred times better. I am a person who doesnt take any type of drug for headaches or pains. So when i am congested/ have cold/flui usually use robitussin or nyquil to make the symptoms go away.

I really like Tylenol for pain relief but people have told me that it can cause dramatic liver damage as a result of taking too much too regularly, which it is easy to do.

I switched because of cost and this was the generic they caried. Oh goodness. It's been two weeks and I noticed I have crying spells and moody. This feeling of hopelessness/sadness. I have had bouts of depression and this pill seemed to magnify it for me. I do not want to keep people from trying it ..this is just my experience so far. I am switching back to microgestin(back to other pharmacy). I do not want to continue with it If I feel like this only two weeks in. So hopefully it will be bet... View full comment
