I used Levora (Nordette generic) for over 5 years and it was great. However, I really like the idea of less periods. I have only taken it for a few weeks so I am not sure yet how I feel about Seasonique. I have expereinced some pretty extreme anxiety which I cannot attribute to any external situations (things are actually pretty calm in my life right now). Went to the doctor after about two years of being in constant bummed-out moods. He diagnosed me with dysthymia (mild, chronic depressed state), and prescribed me with Celexa. After about a year, my moods are much improved and normalized, I can concentrate on tasks better, and I don't dwell on negative experiences. The main issue with the medication is that I think it makes me a bit more tired, though I have always required a lot of sleep.

I had pneumonia in July and about a week after I got better from that, my legs began to ache and swell. They've hurt and stayed swollen all this time. I've been seeing 3 doctors and none have been able to tell me why. I heard about this Levaquin thing today and called my doctor to see if that was one of the meds they'd given me as it sounded familiar. Sure enough. They prescribed Levaquin for me July 21, 2009. I have taken several types of bc pills over the last 20 years and have never had such bad side effects as Levora. A few days after I began taking it I starting experiencing the worst dizziness and nausea that lasts all day. I feel absolutely awful and will be discontinuing.
