I am not a moody or depressed person, but since taking this specific birth control I have been having the worst mood swings ranging from being being easily irritated to sad/depressed for no known reason. It's my favorite! Non-addictive, no side effects and it always makes me feel better the longer I'm on it. It's the best anti-depressant, anxiety help I could ever think of. Plus, I think it made me lose extra weight. I like NOW brand, not very expensive. It has gotten me through the last two winters with minimal seasonal affective disorder symptoms.

The first 2 months were hell. It felt like every thought had to be pulled through a vat of mollasses to be had. I didn't sleep more than 2 hours in a row, couldn't remember the simplest figures and had to drop 2 classes at school. Pristiq

Pristiq is a terrible drug. It made me feel like I was on an upper. I had more anxiety with it than without it. DO NOT stop this drug cold turkey. LIke with Effexor, you will have terrible discontinuation effects, including brain zaps.

i have had serious diziness, feel heavy headed, head feels fuzzy, lack of concentration, also my eyes feel very heavy and ache sometimes, my vision is almost blurry - i absolutely hate the way i feel and am on the verge og depression, and no doctor to date has said that the way that i feel can be a side effect of lymecyline, so i have stopped taking them as of today and so far no improvement...but need to give it some more time probably.
