When I switched to Microgestin I started getting extreme dry mouth, especially at night time when laying down. I will wake up in the middle of the night and my mouth/gums will be completely dry to the point where I can't make my own saliva. Also, I've gained a lot of weight since taking it. I'm able to walk daily when I use celebrex. My recent change in skin irritations on my hands have me in question after taking this evaluation. I'll have to look into that. But other than that, and that might have no relation at all, I'm very satisfied with celebrex. I've tried others and have not had the same results as I do with celebrex..

i feel this way after almost one year (half that year was on the generic microgestin), and finally realized my feeling may be a side effect of junel. thought it was just me and didn't know how to control my mood. cryin right now actually :( i think i may skip tonight's pill and just stop birth control for good. the hormones are horrible for the environment anyways. i plan to start using condoms and natural family planning instead. ....or i may just try the ring bc it is supposedly much lower... I used this medication at nights, and when I had troubles trying to sleep due to my mind running and being anxious about the days ahead, it really helped me to slow down and get the rest that my body really needed. Although, it was a bit strange since it has side effects that might include hallucinations if I stayed awake for too long on it.
