I've only taken Ibuprofen a few times but it has been very effective at relieving my headaches and inflammation. It has really helped with toothaches as well.

Advil helps alleviate my menstrual cramps and I feel works best if taken before major cramps set in. I usually take 2 pills when I begin to feel a slight 'tinge' of pain and when taken early enough, I don't experience as intense cramping as usual.

My migraines usually last 24-36 hours. Naratriptan wears off after about 12-18 hours, so I often have to take another dose. The information sheet does not discuss this possibility, only what to do if ineffective. Some of apparent side effects are/may be a symptom of the migraine itself, i.e. dizziness, drowsiness, headache, eye pressure, concentration problems.

This is the best working drug I have ever taken for any condition. I went from waking up at all hours of the night chewing rolaids and tums continuously, having reflux so bad I almost choked to death several times, to my stomach feeling like I am 10 years old again. I only need to take one nexium on occasions, whenever I eat something that would normally kill my stomach. One pill's effects keep the heartburn and reflux away for 3 or 4 days! I was originally prescribed lortab for fibromyalgia pain. I was prescribed Lortab 10, 4 times a day but quickly began abusing it. It seemed that the longer I took it, the more I had to take to obtain the same pain relief. I abused Lortab for 1 year and as a result became physically and physchologically addicted and finally sought help at a drug rehab treatment facility. This drug is effective for acute pain but I would not recommend for patients with long term chronic pain.
