I have been on lithium for 35 yrs. had a breakdown when my identical sister died.I tried twice in that period of time to stop it and I got a mini break down.Iwill never get off it again.But i would like to go down to one because of all these side effects.Of course I will be asking my dr. about it,but I wanted to know if my feelings about these side effects are being aggravated by lithium.

My father is on Zoladex for prostate cancer. He seems to have developed little obsessive behaviours - like counting cigarettes, the money in his pocket and writing notes. And a slurping sound with his mouth. I also feel he is sinking into a deep depression and wonder if it's the Zoladex. I am taking him to the doc tomorrow. i wish that the manufacturer would give some indication of the length of time we can expect to experience side efects so that in stopping the medication ,we werent throwing the baby out with the bathwater.we all accept that all meds have side effects, but the severity and duration of them is difficult to assessfor someone new to the drug thanks for a very useful and informative source of information

i love differin i added it to my daily routine along with benzaclin gel and my face looks great, i have people that havent seen me since i had horrible acne and they tell me i look like a new person. I had no confidence and hated going out in public, it really had a bad impact on my social skills, but now that people aren't staring at my acne, I have great confidence and people-skills.

I am glad I found this site also. I took candex before bed and woke up with an allergic reaction. I only get this way if I eat something I am allergic too, which I am positive I didn't so it has to be the candex. My eyes, lips, and hands are extremely swollen and I can feel my lungs are swollen. My chest really hurts and it's hard to breath.
