Having been on Lymecycline for almost 10 years now I am only now seeing a connection with memory loss around words: I often remember only the first letter of the word I want (like having a stroke!), or remember it 24 hours later or else the wrong word comes out. I have been worried about greater memory loss the longer I am on these things and only found out by experimenting by coming off them for a week - boy did my conversations flow then - no stumbling over words!

I should have read up on all the potential side effects but I was unsure which medicine I would get due to my insurance. I'm taking Quasense because I have servere PMS for 3 wks including during my cycle, so bad I can barely function due to the emotional/anxiety/fatigue issues so my doctor thought this would help so at least I only get the symptons every few months. I was very happy with Yasmin, until I started having full-body numbness. I went to several doctors who ruled out thyroid problems, not enough B-12 or Iron, and nervous system problems. Then I read up on numbness being a symptom, asked my doctor about it and she changed me over to Sprintec until I figure out what birth control I want to go on long-term.

I have been having a difficult 2 months of seasonal allergy problems that has left me with a nasty & wicked cough from irritated bronchial tubes. This was the first time I tried Mucinex DM and I have had only 1 pill since starting it last night. First of all I slept through last night without waking up once, and today my cough has been reduced by at least 90%. Now that is a great product!

Sandostatin-Lar was very good at controlling my diarrea at first, but as the months wnet on I started to be very sick and had most of the serious side effects. My four-day experience with Pristiq was simply not worth hanging on for better effects down the road. I experienced extreme nausea and headaches. For this reason along with the fact that my insurance company would pick up only $11.00 of the $125 per month cost, I stopped cold turkey.
