My doctor prescribed this medication to me when I was 16. My skin was at a point where it was starting to break out a little. When I started doxycycline, I would get extremely nauseated to the point where I would vomit. You should try taking a non-drowsy allergy medication during the day, such as Claritin, Zyrtec or Allegra. Save the Benadryl for the night time, before you got to bed. You could also try a decongestant that contains pseudoephedrine...it works by constricting the inflamed blood vessels in your nasal passages that is causing the congestion. Good luck.

If you can get the migraine early, it works like a charm. Catch it a little too late (sometimes I'm not quite sure if it's sinus or migraine..) and my life will at least be bearable for the 3 days I would have formerly been flat on my back with ice packs on my head. Depending upon the headache, I've used pills, nasal spray, injections.
