This was first prescribed by a neurosurgeon to replace MS-Contin he said due to the insurance coverage not paying for the MS-Contin. But since changing specialists, I find it difficult to get any other physician willing to write a prescription. 48 hrs after taking one pill my leg muscles gave out . I fell and damaged my knee. I now have to see a doctor and get an mri to see the extent of damage from this poison.

My grandfather has taken Niaspan for a little over 2 years, he started within the last month with more moderate waking up at night a flushing. During the first week I took half a dose and experienced a pretty strong distaste to all foods. Even when I was hungry, the sight and smell of food made me feel sick. This went away during the second week. My only other side effect is that I don't sleep as much as I used to. Also, it tends to wear off suddenly between doses. I am severely allergic to dust and I have rugs in my room. I have been OK until recently when I started getting a lot of sore throats and rashes on my face. I realized that it was because of the accumulation of dust in my room. So I started taking Zyrtec Allergy and I started feeling better a few days after. I would recommend for anyone to take Zyrtec Allergy if they have allergies that are mild or severe. It is amazing!

I stopped taking this after the first injection(administered at Dr office) 5 hrs after injection, I developed sysytems of spinal menigitis. Severe fever, vertigo and was unable to lift my head or move without severe pain, dizziness and vomitting for 3 DAYS. I was told, flu like symptoms would occur, symtomps were beyond this.
