This if one horrid product for about 1/2 the people that use it. I am a senior so when I go shopping I ask heavier or older people if they take it and if there are any side effects. About half say yes or they know someone on it that has problems. My Urine had got very smelly, so bad one had to wash after urinating or the stench came through ones clothing. I've been taking Mucinex DM for 3 days now and it has been working great. I'm suffering from either a sever sinus infection or bronchitis. The Mucinex has really improved my cough and the congestion feels almost non existent. I can tell when the 12 hours is up because all my cold symptoms begin to come back. I do experience the side effect of feeling "spacey" or a sense of euphoria. Most cold medicines make me feel drowsy, so this is new to me.

I was prescribed this drug for Fibromyalgia pain. Yes, you feel less pain because you're High as a Kite! At first my husband thought it was funny that I spent my time giggling and walking into things. Obviously not good. This was on a very low dose of 50 mg / 2 x daily. I am very sensitive to this drug and it caused too many problems including memory, confusion, feeling dizzy and/or "high" plus my husband said there was a change in my personality - obviously not a good one.... I was prescripted this when I got my wisdom teeth removed. It helped A LOT with the pain but while I was taking it I was always tired and couldn't think clearly. Once I went back to school I could only take it at night because I couldn't focus in my classes.

Taken 20mg for post traumatic head injury. At first great-headache gone but got very groggy in the morning, had real sugar cravings, heart rhythm problems and just not feeling quite on the earth. So have cut to 10mg for 3 days and stopped altogether today. Yeah I know you are not meant to stop but I think this drug is not that good for me,now the headaches are much better. Here's hoping anyway!!
