Maxalt works great if you take it right when you start feeling a migraine coming! It does make me sleepy and have to urinate a lot but I'd rather that then the migraine. However, since I've been put on Topamax, I'm not sure the Maxalt works right anymore. I've only had to take the Maxalt once since my doctor allowed me to have both again, so it may have just been a rogue migraine. Hopefully with the next one it will work.

My daughter got her first injection at age 20. Eleven days later she began having pelvic discomfort like a bladder infection. This and periodic anxiety continued for four months. This drug is DANGEROUS. It damaged my lingual nerve permanently. I now have a paresthesia/dysesthesia of my tongue, right side, going on 17 months. It is torture. My taste is altered along with burning pain and tingling in my tongue on the right side.
