Positives: Works fast, not a pain killer... so there are no groggy side effects. Used for several years without any problems. Negatives: Quite expensive even with insurance. No generic equivalent available.

If you are taking Adderall XR it is important that you are meeting with an MD to best understand how it works. Also know, that Adderall XR is not a cure for adult ADD. It's important to read books and learn as much as you can. I know for me, I need to put my keys in the same place every time. I know when I study I need to eliminate as many distractions as possible. There are things that I do regardless of taking medication to put myself in a position to be successful. It takes work.

My so 15y5m has taken two dozes (5 globules each) of Hyoscyamus 30C on 17 Nov 09 and 15 Dec 09. He is Autistic with attention deficiency, ticks, twitches, involuntary movements, restlessness, sleeplessness etc. Both times first 10 days his condition is much worse. I am in my final week of the 3 month treatment. I've decided to stretch the final week into 2 weeks - taking one dose a day, instead of two. I believe the withdrawl will be a little easier (hopefully). Chantix certainly did take away the urge to smoke, I haven't had a cigarette since October 24th. (I actually stopped the first week).
