Beofre starting on qualaquin, I used to use Nivaquin which was very effective, but I think that at a certain point my body started eveloping resistance to the drug. So this is why I started with qualaquin, whose effects are noticeable from day 5 of the treatment. But it gives me this unecessary bitter taste in the mouth, so I have to take a tablespoon of honey after.It also has so many other side effects like generalized lethargy, appetite loss, etc. But I learned to deal with that.

I was irritated with things that normally wouldn't bother me, from my boss, to the kids, to the soccer coach, then spending the rest of the time feeling awful for how I responded to them. I had the hormones levels checked and since my body is running efficiently as ever, my doctor suggested Citalopram hydrobromide in 10 mg for the first two weeks. Osteoporosis of the jaw is not nearly as rare in patients taking Fosomax. That's why there have been several class action lawsuits against the drug. Keep in mind this drug is basically killing your bones, by destroying the bones ability to remove old bone marrow.

It's a horrible drug that is ineffective for pain. The doctors in my area prescribe it regularly as their drug of choice for pain. They refuse to give their patients anything better. It's awful.
