There are so many different kinds of medications out there. You aren't just going to immediately find the right one for you. It's all about trial and error. Trust me, it's an agrivating process and I've wanted to give up many times (I started trying different meds about 7 months ago) I have confedence that I will find one right for me. I use a mix of drugs as preventive for my "Cluster" condition one is Topamax. At first I was on 250mg and it was terrible as I lost weight, dizzy, total lack of concentration and at time could not even remember my telephone number or home address. No aftyer treatment I am down to 25mg (morning and 50mg night and I feel no side effects yet I still feel a slight lack of concentration, drowsiness and weight loss.
