i have had alot of muscle tension since starting it and very tired constantly yawning and i have a headache every day all day. mood is more calm but can get very irritated of stupid things. working on controlling that! not sure if i like it giving in time to get into my system to see if i really like it.

Unfortunately, I have only recently started to recearch this medication and it's side effects. At first I thought effxor xr was the best thing that ever happened to me, but after taking it for 2 plus years I wish it was never prescribed to me. I did feel better in the beginning. There is a noticeable energy lift and feeling of well being. But unfortunatly there is also intense emotions and difficulty breathing, expecially in bed. I don't like the feeling of slight suffocation. It causes me anxiety. For that reason I am seeing my doctor and electing to take the shot instead. I have four buldging discs, arthritis, spinal stenosis and an old vertebral fracture from an accident. I want to avoid surgery at all costs, and have had two epidurals for pain control (also something I want to avoid).
