M/W/A 57yrs 6'+ 235lbs, was put on Simcor Sept 2010, due for first CBC since medication started next week. My triglycerides were through the roof, 500+, LDL was only 179, but HDL was in the basement, so DR put me on 1000-20 Simcor. He warned me of the "flushing" as he put it, and wanted me to take it at bedtime to limit this side effect. I took this after my wisdom teeth were taken out so they were really helpful. But when I did take them, I constantly slept and ate nothing so the lack of energy made me dizzy, and I had two fainting/vomiting spells.
