it was recomended I take this to help strengthen my bones since osteoporosis runs in my family. I did take it for some time but just having to take one a day was hard because I became forgetful.

Shortly after starting a short course of this medication I starting having irregular (skipped) heartbeats upon light exertion. It took me two weeks to put two and two together and I have now stopped the medication. I have had irregular heartbeats in the past but they had not bothered me for several years. Also, I have experienced difficulty sleeping including trouble getting to sleep and/or mid night wakefulness. Recently I have experienced diarrhea. This drug does not seem to be worth us... Not sure, but I think it causes some paranoia sometimes, though I do not have any visual or auditory hallucinations, and have never been diagnosed with any mental issues. I find as the length of time increases for me being on Vicodin, I find myself sometimes suffering from frequent paranoia, even though I have not increase the dosage my doctor prescribed. I am entitled to 1 pill every 4 hours as needed for pain, and I do not always take that amount. Sometimes I may skip a dose because I have... View full comment
